Not the Pizza Guy

I arrived home yesterday after a nice bicycle perouse in Stanley Park,

to find that my front yard (the parking lot of my apartment building) was full of unusual equipment.

It turns out my house is a film set.  They had taken over the entire entrance way so I walked up and they asked me what business I had there.  Haha…  ”Um, I live here. ” I said.   Hilariously, the guy took a moment to consider whether he should let me in or not.  Once he was convinced, we had a nice little chat and I told him about a back entrance he could use to let people in without disturbing the film set.

Below: (In this photo I smudged the actor’s face for copyright purposes (not sure who he is but he looks important).

I talked to an assistant director and found out that the show is called “Hiccups“, a comedy that airs on City TV (CTV).  They’re filming their second season and apparently one of the characters lives at my place.

On my way back out of the house I decided to snap a few shots for your viewing pleasure.  I know they don’t like this but I’m actually taking pictures of my front yard…there just happens to be a film crew in it. (smirk)

I almost called my old casting agent to see if I could get a job doing background in my driveway.

Wouldn’t be a long commute that’s for sure.

  1. Glad to hear your coexistence with the film industry is mostly peaceful.

  2. it would have been hilarious if craig was on that set that day.
